Our hotel

The new Elena de Cobre in León, Mexico, is decidedly two-faced. At its base, the hotel resides in a 19th-century casona—the city’s oldest restored mansion—with original colonial-style architecture and details, such as the wooden and clay pergola, decorative door and window frames, and quarry stone elements. On top is local talent Mario Plasencia’s Brutalist masterpiece, at once juxtaposed with history and inexorably pulling the city into the future. Innovation is at the heart of Emiliano, with award-winning chef Juan Emilio Villaseñor offering his unique smoked Mexican fusion cuisine.Ranging from 22 to 80 square meters, all accommodations feature either one king-size or two queen beds. Each Standard Room includes a walk-in closet, a shower, and a balcony or a terrace. The Junior Suite houses an antique wardrobe, and its bathroom has either a copper tub or Turkish-style tub. The Suite boasts a living room and a 37-square-meter terrace with a dining area and a private pool.
