Driving directions

From the exit of the airport turn left on the National road Souda airport. Follow the road until the square intersection, take the first exit and follow the road until the second intersection in about 4.5 km (2.8 mi.). On the second intersection take the second exit and follow the Akrotiriou street for 3.1 km (1.9 mi.). Turn left to Papanastasiou street and follow the road until the main intersection, where you will go under the bridge and turn left on the first exit to the National road (E75). You will pass Rethymno town after 70 km (43.5 mi.), Heraklion town after 148 km (92 mi.). After 208 km (129.2 mi.) you will approach the town of Aghios Nikolaos and a crossroad with traffic lights. Before entering the town, turn left at these lights and after 150 meters (0.1 mi.), at the next set of traffic lights, turn right following the signs towards Elounda. Drive through Elounda, following the signs towards the village of Plaka, along the coastal line. In about 4 km (2.5 mi.), Blue Palace is on the left side.
