Presidential Suite 2 Bedroom Suite, Bedroom 1: King, Bedroom 2: King, Bathrooms: 2

The grandest of all suites, the two-bedroom Presidential Suite occupies the entire waterfront-facing space on the second noble floor of the hotel's Tiepolo Palace, making it undeniably the finest address in the hotel. The suite presents uninterrupted views of the entrance to Venice’s Grand Canal, with perspectives that extend 180° from the Bacino San Marco to San Giorgio Maggiore island, across to Punta della Dogana and the beautiful Santa Maria della Salute Basilica, and beyond again to the palatial residences of notable architectural beauty that line the opposite bank of the waterway.

The ultimate in contemporary Venetian luxury, with the highest ceilings in the palazzo, the Presidential Suite is composed of two significant living areas with wool carpet dressed Venetian terrazzo floors, extensive stand up Juliette balconies, a master bedroom overlooking the Italianate garden of the hotel, a second bedroom, two ensuite bathrooms, a kitchenette pantry, and two powder rooms.

A magnificent artist's residence, the suite is infused with avant-garde spirit. Inspired by the watercolours of French Impressionism's father, painter Claude Monet who painted from this same location in 1908 when he was a former guest of The St. Regis Venice – at the time the Grand Hotel Britannia – the interior design of the suite is curated by London-based Sagrada and superbly evidences the soft, warm Venetian light that has drawn artists to Venice over the centuries.

Focal points in the living rooms are two contemporary canvases entitled "Hommages à Monet" commissioned to artist in residence, French painter Olivier Masmonteil, which celebrate Monet’s mastery of capturing the warm light of Venice in painting. Venetian mirror inserts amplify their jewel colours alongside the light and beauty that filters in from outside.

Bronze and Alabaster plaster sculpture by Massimiliano Pelletti, collaborative glass art by Robin Greene and Beregno Studios, art by Aurore de la Morinerie, Tony Blackmore, and James Thomas, and backlit shelving dotted with objets d’art, Murano glass accessories and literary works lends sophisticated eclecticism and a residential feel to the suite. Adding to the tailored living room environments, a plush velvet chaise, two armchairs and several design coffee tables combine in each space to form stylish lounge sets for socializing, and on which to unwind. Facilitated by the services of the suite’s personal St. Regis Butler, on call 24-hours, private dinners may be enjoyed together on the fine wood dining tables. Inviting reflective moments are two escritoire positioned by the large windows, and there is a state-of-the-art entertainment system and a well-stocked wet bar of custom design and cocktail set for entertaining friends.

Defined by soft design furnishings, fine Rubelli fabrics, artisanal craftsmanship, and artworks by Lauren Dequick and Maria Keryn, the suite bedrooms are lavish retreats that promise unrivalled repose. In each bedroom a signature St Regis king-size bed that sleeps two is composed of soft down-feather duvets and crisp white Frette linen. Ample wardrobe space caters to extended stays, and an armchair and coffee table provide additional points of rest.

Lavishly proportioned, the two ensuite bathrooms present luxurious sanctuaries dressed in precious open-faced Italian Palissandro Classic and Lasa Covelano Vena Oro Italian marble, with the master bathroom privileged with a coveted window that looks out to the Grand Canal and the Italianate Garden of the hotel. Both bathrooms feature Venetian detailing that allures to local boating tradition and ornamental motifs, dual basin vanities, decorated mirrors, an ample walk-in rainforest shower, a bathtub for deep soaking, a water closet, and bidet or bidet shower. Luxurious Remède bath amenities and plush terry robes, towels and slippers add to the pampering experience.
