Amazing concierge
Front desk was amazing from beginning to end. Kahina was excellent in her job and did above and beyond of what is expected of her. She made us feel welcome and feel at home. She made our stay more exciting as she gave us guidance on what to do especially with our stay in Paris was just for a short while.

Lack of basic hospitality knowledge
The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was lovely and the space was exactly what we expected. The staff, however, was awful. I have never experienced such poor service and lack of common courtesy. We are SPG members and this was by far our worst experience.
The room was barely cleaned every day, some days we got new towels others we did not. Some days there we robes in the room most days there were not. One day we left half-empty cups of juice on the desk, assuming housekeeping would, of course, remove them. We were wrong when we came back that night the bottles and dirty cups were exactly where we left them.
The staff in the restaurant delivered the level of service you would expect at a food truck. We had breakfast there once and the waitress (same awful woman mentioned in the below comments about our last day) refused to help us understand how the menu worked. We ask many questions, most of which she stared at us as if we had eight heads and simply asked again what we wanted to order. She made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. There was, however, a gentleman who was quite intuitive and helpful, wishing now I would have caught his name, as he is certainly the best employee you have.
On our last day, we checked out at the time requested by the hotel because we were told we were not eligible for late checkout despite SPG stating that we would have this luxury. The woman at the front desk demanded that we leave our key with her, despite not having yet packed up our things. We rushed back to the hotel to remove our things from the room and the woman at the desk said to us 'see you were back in time anyway'. With 4 hours free before needed to head to the airport, we wanted to enjoy the sweets we purchased at Laduree and when we asked for the restaurant staff to lend us two forks we were told we could not eat that here and we were only allowed to eat in our rooms. After this statement, she simply walked away from us.
At checkout we were also questioned about whether or not we used the parking services for three days, we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights in total. We asked for assistance with renting a car and were told by the gentleman at the desk that day that we would have to wait to speak to the concierge. He told us to come back at 7am to speak with him to arrange a rental for two days, we came down to see the concierge in the morning (around 9am) and we were told again no one could help us and a concierge would be in in the evening.
