We went online to see what hotels were available for our family reunion in this small western town. Once we saw the Marriott brand, we booked here immediately! When we checked in, we were delighted to see the hotel exceeded our expectations. The suite was large and very clean. The large, well-lit desk and free WiFi came in handy for working. Having a sofa to relax and watch TV was terrific. The kitchen was convenient. We kept cheese and wine in the frig and made ☕️ in the room. Every morning, from 6-10am, a free hot breakfast was served downstairs with everything from homemade oatmeal to yogurt, fried eggs, sausage, and huge waffles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PCParent from Housekeeping - Where art thou? The suite was nice enough, but there were issues with cleanliness. Stains on the furniture and hide-a-bed mattress, M & Ms on the bedroom floor, black stuff in the corners of the tub, opened juice container in the fridge, and someone's old egg mcmuffin still sitting in the microwave. Asked for a discount, but manager was not there. Have not heard from anyone.

We found this year that the hotel rooms were poorly maintained and Furniture was not clean and there was significant damage to the walls. Also the coffee maker was very dirty and carpets are dirty. We had always been pleased in the past. Too bad. Hotel staff responded by telling us the rooms had just been inspected. Well that was not a helpful response and that was their only response.

We chose the TownePlace Suites during Gypsy Days weekend as I was participating in the parade as Mrs. Black Hills International and visiting our daughter attending NSU. We were upgraded to a beautiful 2 bedroom suite. The check in experience was fast and efficient. The staff no matter the time of day or night was friendly and accommodating. I think my only suggestion would be acquiring more comfortable beds. Pillows were great the beds just very hard. Having the full kitchen and living/dining areas was perfect for our daughter and her friends to hang out while I made them a home cooked meal. We travel to Aberdeen frequently and will choose the TownePlace Suites every time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boni from Perfect for us Checking was a breeze thanks to the front desk staff. The rooms were spacious and as in all Marriott properties the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was good and everyone that worked there had a smile! Will be back!

Rated 3 out of 5 by MrWare from Loud AC Bed was very uncomfortable and loud. The AC was louder than the bed. The carpet in the hallways were extremely dirty.
