Perched majestically over the sparkling waters of the Andaman Sea, Kayuputi (which means "white wood" in Indonesian) was conceived by the king of luxury resorts: Bangkok-based, Harvard-educated architect Bill Bensley. He designed our signature Asian fusion restaurant as an art collector’s beach house that shines like a beacon, a mythical siren’s call that takes gourmands on a fantastical culinary sojourn away from the ordinary.

A bright, airy and serene space welcomes you to dinner with a palette of white and neutral hues. Kayuputi evokes the sensuous luxury of a private beach retreat on the water. The food is paired with a specially curated collection of antiques featuring century-old wooden doors and windows repurposed from the Dutch embassy in Yangon. The décor also includes 60 teak columns inlaid with camel bone from India and a vintage, open-page Shell survey book on the restaurant's high ceiling, making this one of the most visually entrancing places to eat in Langkawi.

Come dusk, the cozy sundeck on the eastern front provides a cushioned vantage point to admire a spectacular sunset accompanied by a cool tipple or two.

Award winning, young and talented. Exceptional kitchen brigade.

"Guests should feel the soul of the culinary team for every dish they put forward, delivering only the best. This will leave a lasting memory in their memory." - Executive Chef Mandy Goh and her team.
