This exceptionally versatile venue for both meetings and banquets offers a scenic, exclusive setting on a private peninsula in St. Julian's, Malta. With 17 flexible meeting rooms and 1,400 square meters of dynamic meeting space, our Malta Conference Centre can comfortably support any group configuration, from the smallest breakout sessions to large, theatre-style seminars. Natural daylight can also be enjoyed in all of our Syndicate Rooms, while a private patio makes for al fresco coffee breaks inspired by the scenic beauty of the St. Julian's coastline.

Dragonara Point Ballroom

The Dragonara Point Ballroom is the largest meeting room at the Westin Dragonara Resort, and can take up to 600 people in theatre style. The Dragonara Point Ballroom can also be used for banquets and receptions of up to 1000 people.

Spinola Bay

Ballroom into three separate rooms with private entrance, St Julian's Bay, Spinola Bay and St George's Bay. Spinola Bay is the largest of the three and is a multifunctional room, which is used for all kinds of events and meetings of up to 250 in theatre style.

St. Julian's Bay

The flexible walls divide the Dragonara Point Ballroom into three separate rooms with private entrance, St Julian's Bay, Spinola Bay and St George's Bay. St Julian's is multifunctional room, which is used for all kinds of events and meetings of up to 175 in theatre style.

St. Georges Bay

The flexible walls divide the Dragonara Point Ballroom into three separate rooms with private entrance, St Julian's Bay, Spinola Bay and St George's Bay. St George's Bay is a multifunctional room, which can be used for all kinds of events and meetings of up to 160 delegates in theatre style.

Phoenician

Enjoying natural daylight and access to a patio overlooking the tennis courts, Phoenician seats up to 60 delegates in theatre style. The flexible walls divide Phoenician into two separate rooms with private entrance which are ideal as breakout rooms.

Castillian

Enjoying natural daylight and access to a patio overlooking the tennis courts, Castillian is one of the largest syndicate rooms at the Westin Dragonara Resort, and seats up to 100 in theatre style. The flexible walls divide Castillian into three separate rooms with private entrance to each, which are ideal as breakout rooms.

Carthaginian

Enjoying natural daylight and access to a patio overlooking the tennis courts, Carthaginian is one of the largest syndicate rooms at the Westin Dragonara Resort, and seats up to 100 in theatre style. The flexible walls divide Carthaginian into two separate rooms with private entrances which are ideal as breakout rooms.

Norman

Norman is ideal for small intimate meetings in u-shape up to 21 people or as a break-out room for up to 40 people in theatre style.

Roman

Roman is ideal for small intimate meetings in u-shape up to 21 people or as a break-out room for up to 50 people in theatre style.

Setup Example

Banquet

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.

Setup Example

Conference and Hollow Square

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.

E-shape, U-shape and T-shape

Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.

Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
