Prescott

Prescott offers our hotel’s guests many rich historical excursions, beautiful desert scenery and a vibrant southwestern culture. Prescott was one of the original settlements of the Arizona Territory, and is home to gorgeous historical buildings and Victorian homes; across town, put on your cowboy boots and experience the excitement of cowboys riding broncos and bulls at the World’s Oldest Rodeo. You can stop in for some fine continental cuisine––with some historic ambience––at the Rose Restaurant, located in Prescott's Historic District. For a more casual scene, visit Raven Café and enjoy some local live music, or grab a hearty breakfast at The Local.

There are tons of restaurants, shops, and accommodation in Prescott city centre, as well; take a stroll down the famous Whisky Row and stop in at The Gurley Street Grill for some history and sophisticated dining. For an exotic experience and a good story, check in at the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary. Visitors can tour the Smoki Museum to experience indigenous Southwest artefacts and paintings, or visit the Phippen Museum for exhibits of the art and culture of the West. Prescott hotel guests should also check out one of the city’s many seasonal festivals, including Frontier Days, the Bluegrass Festival, Prescott Film Festival, and the yearly Pumpkin Patch Carnival! Before heading home, take a canoe ride on Watson Lake and soak up the unforgettable view.
