Not far from the raging waters of Niagara Falls, Buffalo is New York’s second-largest city, and is home to architectural wonders––and is the birthplace of one of America’s favourite finger foods. There truly is something for everyone in Buffalo.

At 641 Delaware Avenue, you can explore the mansion where President Teddy Roosevelt was sworn into office––and Louis Henry Sullivan’s Prudential Building in the city centre is one of the tallest structures in the city.
Art aficionados can take in masterpieces by artists as revered as Picasso and Van Gogh at the Albright–Knox Gallery; just across the street, the Burchfield-Penney Art Center has stunning watercolours by Charles Burchfield on display.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and accommodation in Buffalo, as well; browse the locally produced artisan goods at Elmwood Village, or unearth antique deals and more in the nearby Allentown District.
