Bonus Points
Occasionally, member specials let you earn bonus points in addition to rate savings. Keep an eye out for these opportunities –you could find yourself on a complimentary vacation sooner than you thought possible.

Cash + Points
Rewards members may combine cash nights and points nights when making a redemption reservation. PointSavers® and exclusive member offers will be displayed when available. Special rates and awards, such as corporate and government rates, AAA and senior discounts, will not appear.

E-certificate
When you reserve hotel rewards at a participating location, an “e-certificate” will automatically be generated and made available to the hotel when you check-in. You also have the option to redeem for a paper certificate for a small fee. The advantage to an e-Certificate is that once you make the reservation, your work is done (provided you have enough points to redeem).

Elite Membership
When you stay with us for a certain number of nights in a given year, you automatically qualify to upgrade to one of our three Elite member levels: Silver, Gold or Platinum. With Elite membership, you’re recognized as one of our best customers and entitled to additional exclusive benefits.

Hotel Reward
Use the Rewards points you’ve earned for a hotel stay in a standard hotel room (extra points required for room upgrades such as rooms with desirable views, larger rooms and suites, enhanced amenities, etc.)

Marriott GiftCards
If you’re a member of Marriott Rewards, you can redeem your points for Marriott GiftCards for use at any of more than 3,600 Marriott hotels worldwide.

Member Exclusive Specials
On occasion, limited-time offers are made available exclusively to Rewards members, and may include hotel rate discounts, bonus points or miles, offers from brand name companies and more.

Mileage Reward
Rewards points can be transferred as miles to any participating airline frequent flyer program. Find more information

on the rates for specific airlines.

Night Earnings vs. Point Earnings
In addition to tracking the points earned with each stay, we also tally the number of nights you stay with us to determine qualification for Elite member status, entitling you to additional benefits.

No Blackout Dates
Our no blackout dates policy means you can redeem your rewards for a vacation wherever you want, whenever you want. Please note that some hotels may limit the number of standard rooms available for redemption on a limited number of days.

Points
Stay more. Earn more. As a Rewards member, you’ll earn points with each stay to use toward complimentary nights or flights, in addition to other rewards.

Points vs. Miles
We offer all members the option to earn either points toward complimentary nights and other rewards, or miles for complimentary flights with their favorite frequent flyer program. You can view and change your earning preference easily through “My Account”, your personalized online Rewards page.

PointSavers^® Hotel Reward
One of our most popular rewards, PointSavers

offers up to 33% in point savings, depending on the hotel category and number of nights requested.

Reward Category/Tier
Hotels are arranged into 9 categories (Marriott brands) and 5 tiers (The Ritz-Carlton), depending on the brand, hotel selection, rate, amenities, location and the services offered. The points required for stays increase successively from Category 1 through Category 9 hotels, as well as Tier 1 through Tier 5.

Reward Code
Each reward available through your membership is assigned a unique Reward Code that makes it easy to search for and recall specific reward details.

Seasonal Awards
This hotel is offering Seasonal Awards, so you can use fewer points when you book a stay during these dates.

Stay
A stay is defined as all registered consecutive nights spent at the same participating hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity.

Travel Packages
We frequently bundle several elements of a trip — hotel, car, airfare and others — into attractively priced specials known as packages.

Travel Partner
As a Rewards member, you can take advantage of exclusive offers from a number of international partner hotels, airlines, retail stores, car rental agencies and other companies.

Upgrade
The Rewards points you’ve earned can be used at select properties to purchase room upgrades such as larger accommodations, a premium view or enhanced amenities.
