Miranda and Daniel were looking for something new and different for their wedding reception for 200 guests. Having recently been to many London weddings, they wanted something unique, sophisticated and charming. They also wanted something that had not been experienced before. When they visited the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, which had just opened, it seemed the perfect choice. Theirs would be the first wedding at the hotel which boasts the most sumptuous contemporary furnishings, beautiful Belle Époque architecture, a wonderful cobble-stoned courtyard (perfect for photos), sweeping staircases and a stunning contemporary ballroom with state-of-the-art lighting.
With a Jewish-Latin American theme running throughout, it was a real party atmosphere. The wedding included fireworks as the couple entered the ballroom, a Gypsy Kings style band, confetti cannons that let off over the dance floor, and incredible in-house culinary delights throughout the evening.
The Renaissance Chancery Court wedding experience was so incredible that it inspired the bride to launch a new project.
Shortly after the wedding Miranda set up Orchid Events (www.orchidevents.co.uk) and has since become one of the country’s leading society wedding planners. Her work has been featured on CNN, ITV News and many radio shows, including LBC 97.3.
