Memorable Boy with Thorn Sculpture (2 of 51)

The Boy with The Thorn statue has stood sentinel in the hotel courtyard since 1976. The commissioned work was created by sculptor Bernard Zuckermann in his studio in Carrara, Italy. The white marble statue set upon an onyx-veined Tuscan Travertine marble base is a heroic-size replica of the original figure in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.
